Cael McCarville is a 2023 3B/RHP, 1B with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Springfield, MO who attends Kickapoo. Strong built athlete with broad shoulders and still plenty of room to add on. Ran the 60-yard dash in 7.23 seconds. Primary position 3B, showed himself to be a versatile defender with advanced overall skills with the glove. He showed smooth hands and good lateral movement to go with a strong arm that had carry as it registered at 81 mph across the diamond. Right handed hitter using an open stance and toe tap to get back square. Short stroke with loose wrists and strong hands creating loud contact and some loft. Can get a bit uphill at times but there is bat to ball skills here with emerging power and a lot to like overall. Elite student and a strong follow going forward.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
