Diego Lopez is a 2027 SS/RHP, 3B, MIF with a 5-8 135 lb. frame from Bend, OR who attends Ridgeview. Small lean frame. In the infield, preps well with a quick first step and solid lateral mobility. Transfers quickly and delivers accurately and in rhythm across the diamond. Right-handed hitter, wide base and open stance. Initial move is a moderate leg kick, gets the foot down on time and drives the hands direct to contact. He flashes above average bat speed with a line drive oriented middle to pull side approach. Uses the lower half well. On the mound, clean delivery that utilizes the lower half well. Loose flowing arm action shows decent speed to a three-quarters release. Breaker has early flashes of real sharpness. 7.61 60-yard.
