Cole Egan is a 2023 LHP/1B with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Clinton, PA who attends West Allegheny. Nice athletic build with some present strength and plenty of physical projection ahead. Works exclusively from the stretch, leads down the mound aggressively with his glove, 3/4's arm slot with good downhill angle and leverage. Steady mid-80's fastball, has some cutting action and angle and got into right handed hitter's kitchens consistently. Threw a slurve type breaking ball with some depth, can tighten up this pitch. Flashed a straight change up at 78 mph. Plenty of potential here for both increased velocity and improved secondaries, follow closely. Good student. Named to the Western Pennsylvania Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.
