Camden Dean is a 2028 OF/LHP, 1B with a 6-0 168 lb. frame from Southlake, TX who attends Southlake Carroll. Medium, athletic frame with a high waist and long levers. 7.05 runner in the sixty-yard dash. Switch hitter, similar setup from both sides, medium base with high hands, simple stride out into contact, showed more polish from the left-side with natural flow to the operation. Showed quality barrel control from both sides with feel for it and obvious power projection and feel to leverage. Primary outfielder, fields with a clean one hand funnel off to the side of the frame, game-like actions working through the ball, easy arm speed and quick release, accurate to the bag, recorded throws up to 83 mph. Secondary left-handed pitcher, athletic down the slope with a long arm action working to a three-quarters slot. Projects really nicely on the mound, worked comfortably in the 82-83 range, up to 84 mph (2144 RPM) with life in the zone. Spins the baseball with confidence, up to 69 mph (2261 RPM) with 1-7 shape and also flashed a changeup with fade, up to 76 mph (1210 RPM). Also worked out at first base, bounces off the bag nicely, two hand funnel out front, can change arm angles and feeds the double-play well, accurate to both bags with a strong arm, recorded throws up to 83 mph.
