Primary catcher on defense, sets up in a side saddle stance, is quick and athletic coming out of his crouch, has good arm strength with some carry, has the physical tools to continue to develop defensively and is plenty athletic to play other positions well. Right handed hitter, sets up in a straight and spread stance with a simple hand load and small toe lift trigger, has a short and direct line drive swing, high contact swing approach, best contact to right center field. Very good student.
