Mason Knott is a 2029 C/2B/OF with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from Spring, TX who attends Lake Creek. Ran a strong 6.78 sixty-yard dash. A versatile defender, Knott showcased at catcher, in the infield, and in the outfield. Behind the dish, he starts in a one-knee down stance, receiving well and popping out of the crouch with urgency. Knott recorded pop times as low as 2.13, while producing throws up to 70 mph. From the outfield grass, the Texas native showcased direct and effective actions, featuring some quick-twitch athleticism. Knott produced accurate throws from a low arm slot, reaching 75 mph from the outfield. On the infield, Knott again showcased some lateral agility, displaying range with a synced-up lower half. He delivered throws up to 65 from the infield dirt. At the plate, Knott offers present strength in the box, starting with an even base and high hands. He then gets to the barrel via a simple leg lift, producing exit velocities up to 80 mph, showing a knack for peppering the middle of the field.
