Braylon Jeffrey is a 2030 SS/RHP/2B with a 5-9 141 lb. frame from Marrero, LA who attends John Curtis Christian. Medium, athletic frame with room to grow. Ran a 7.44 60-yard dash. On the mound, full windup with a standard side step into a belt-high leg lift and slight coil. Lower half drive down the mound while landing in line and over the front side. Loose arm from a high 3/4 slot with a longer arm action and a clean, repeatable delivery. Fastball was 72-75 mph T75. Broke off a 64 mph breaking ball with 11-5 shape, spin, and depth. Slider was 68 mph with sweeping action. Worked in the infield with a prep step and good range. Glove works and plays through the ball with feet moving. Strong arm with zip, 74 mph across the infield, and looked very good on the slow roller. Right-handed hitter with an even stance and quick hands. Short pull-back load and a compact stroke that gets on time. Rotational move with the ability to turn on the ball and lift it to the pull side. Good student.
