Wade Smith is a 2027 OF/C, SS with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Madison, MS who attends Jackson Preparatory. Tall, lean frame with good physical projection. Good runner, ran a 6.86 60-yard dash. Right-handed hitter, medium and even base with high hands in the stance. Simple stride out into contact with repeatable parts to the operation. Solid bat speed and strength plays to the pull-side when in rhythm. Primary outfielder, waits back on the grounders, fields with one hand off to the side of the frame and works through well, lower slot release point. Has solid accuracy around the bag with fundamental actions. Good student.
