Ahmad Muhammad is a 2025 SS/RHP, C, 3B, MIF with a 6-2 180 lb. frame from St. Louis, MO who attends John Burroughs. Recorded a 7.00 second sixty yard dash time. Taller frame with a sturdy, physical frame. Primary shortstop, quick feet with athletic footwork. Quick release with a shorter arm action. Has a clue for the angles and the glove works well. Good internal clock and accurate throws across the diamonds. Secondary outfielder, Fields it off to the side and jumps into a crow-hop through the release with a longer arm action. Quick to charge it and makes a clean exchange into the crow-hop. Big separation into the release with accurate throws. Also threw an inning. Stretch only from the middle of the rubber. Hands start at the belly and takes a quick hitch up to the chest. Leg lift to the belly and breaks into a slightly offline arm path. Releases from a three-quarter arm slot. The fastball (2059 RPM) was upper-70s and low-80s that peaked at 82. Fairly straight with some natural heaviness. Mixed in a more traditional 12-6 shaped curveball (1606 RPM) that was upper-60s to disrupt hitters. Pitched to contact. The right-handed hitter starts from a wider base with an even base and high hands and high back elbow, utilizes a simple lift and replace trigger. Takes a direct path to the ball. Creates tension well and then lets it loose with a quick stroke and accelerates the barrel well with strong hands. Some present bat speed and able to work back up the middle with some quality impacts. Power upside as strength is added. Added a line drive hit back up the middle during game action. Exciting player with a high ceiling. Excellent student.
