Jacob Morris is a 2026 SS/RHP, 2B with a 5-8 140 lb. frame from New Palestine, IN who attends New Palestine. He has a medium frame a lean, athletic build with room to fill as he develops physically. Ran the sixty yard dash in 7.93 seconds. Primary shortstop that shows solid footwork for his age with range to both sides of his body. He fields the ball cleanly and transfers quickly to his throwing hand. He has nice athleticism and will continue to add velocity on his throws across the infield as he gains strength. Secondary right-handed pitcher that works exclusively from the stretch. He has drop and drive back leg mechanics and has a fluid motion that he repeats well. He throws with a long and loose arm action and showed the ability to throw the fastball to both sides of the plate. His curveball has 11-5 shape with nice tilt that he has advanced feel for at his age. Right-handed hitter that starts in an athletic stance and uses a low hanging leg kick. He does a nice job of working through his swing with his lower half and has a flatter path through the zone. He has a line drive approach and showed nice accuracy with the barrel.
