Avery Williams is a 2026 SS/RHP/2B with a 6-4 152 lb. frame from Rock Hill, SC who attends York Prep Academy. Long and lean build with lots of room to get stronger. Right handed hitter, sets up in a spread stance with a low and deep hand load, tends to stay on his back side during his swing, longer swing path, best on balls away from him. 9.01 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense, step by step actions to the ball, fields the ball cleanly, throws from a low and long arm slot with developing carry. Also pitched, works from a full wind up from the first base side, high 3/4's arm action. Fastball was in the low 70's and topped out at 75 mph with some run and sink, threw strikes with his fastball. Also threw a soft curveball with some 12/6 shape and tilt. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
