Reese Parker is a 2029 SS/RHP/3B with a 5-9 165 lb. frame from Saucier, MS who attends West Harrison. Compact strong built frame with good athleticism and life to his overall actions. Ran the 60 yard dash in 6.91 seconds. Primary position IF, showing some hop to his foot work and moving quickly into his angles. Works around the ball well and presents the glove out front appropriately with accuracy securing the ball with ease. Clean midline transfer working into a 3/4 arm angle producing feeds up to 85 mph across the diamond with accuracy. Nice compliment of tools on the clay. Secondary RHP, working with a belly high leg lift to load before working down the mound in a clean line. Efficient and repeatable delivery using a medium arm path before accelerating through a high 3/4 arm angle. Really nice 3-pitch mix creating plenty of swing and miss. Fastball up to 83 mph with sinker type traits, setting the stage for two, plus off speed pitches. Good depth on on upper-60s curve with late biting depth that he landed to both RH and LH hitters. Fading changeup with deadening action in the low-70s. Dominant outing on the mound in game action. LHH with a strong, well-balanced stance to start with small controlled leg lift to get moving. Good handset creation length in front arm as he loads but gets the barrel to the front with accuracy. On time, creating violence at impact as he showed the ability to elevate the ball with authority to the pull side. Elite performer in the classroom as well. Named to play in the Perfect Game 14U Select Festival.
