Brett Ishikawa is a 2024 SS/RHP, 2B, 3B, MIF with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Stevenson Ranch, CA who attends West Ranch. Medium, athletic build with well proportioned strength. 7.47 runner in the sixty-yard dash. Left-handed hitter, starts slightly open with his front side, gets the swing started with a hanging leg load, has good hip torque in the swing. Creates separation in the hands, stays compact with minimal moving parts. Gets the barrel out front consistently and impacts to the pull-side. Primary shortstop, waits back for grounder, clean funnel out front, worked through the backhand nicely. Quick exchange, longer arm swing to a higher release point. Has solid arm strength, produces carry to the bag, recorded throws up to 78 mph. Fundamentally sound middle infielder. Great student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
