Tage McKinley is a 2026 SS/RHP/3B with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Park City, UT who attends IMG Academy. Medium build with some present strength. Left handed hitter, starts from an open stance with a toe tap close into contact, has loose and fast hands and creates some bat speed, lived on the barrel with hard pull side contact, projectable hitting tools as he gets stronger. 7.42 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense, has smooth glove work and funnels well, plays well on the move with quiet and balanced feet, charged the ball well, arm strength might be best suited for second base in the future. Took a turn on the mound, has a high energy delivery with a short stride and cross fire angle to the plate. Fastball worked in the low 80's and touched 84 mph. Change up was a good pitch for him, also threw a short soft slider. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
