Haydan Villasenor is a 2024 MIF/RHP, C, 2B, SS, OF with a 5-7 155 lb. frame from Lake Stevens, WA who attends Lake Stevens. Strong, athletic build. 7.40 60-yd. Well-rounded defensive player with the ability to play in multiple spots. Flashed twitchy actions on the infield. He has range in both directions and catches the ball cleanly due to solid footwork. Showcased solid arm strength with accuracy from the outfield. The athleticism worked well behind the plate. Above-average footwork allows for him to gain ground quickly and work into a smooth ball transfer. The arm strength played well behind the dish, as well. Sets up with an even base with hands shoulder high. Utilizes a short, simple swing in the box. Advanced approach stays through the middle of the field and produces frequent line drives. Solid on the mound, as well. Showcased an athletic delivery with quick tempo that moves well down the mound. Utilizes a ¾ arm slot with clean arm path that hides the ball well. The fastball sat 76-79 mph with armside run. Pounded the zone with the offering allowing him to work ahead of hitters. The slider sat 66-67 mph with sharp, tight break. It paired well with the heater and kept hitters off balance. Good student.
