Ben Meskovic is a 2029 C/RHP/MIF/OF with a 5-5 130 lb. frame from Fenton, MO who attends Rockwood Summit. Smaller medium build. Right handed hitter, starts from a straight medium stance, has a short and direct swing, good fundamental foundation to his swing and timing, bat speed will continue to improve with additional strength and size. 8.20 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, sets up side saddle, tends to step into the right hand batter's box to throw, comes out of his crouch well but not directionally, made accurate one hop throws with developing arm strength. Also worked out in the infield and outfield, had some actions in the infield and fielded the ball cleanly with some idea on his footwork. Very young outfield actions. Took a turn on the mound, works from a full wind up, picks up the plate late, high 3/4's arm slot, pretty consistent in his mechanics and has a clean arm action. Fastball topped out at 69 mph, also showed some feel for his curveball and change up, just lacking arm strength to have a chance on the mound. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
