Pierce Gable is a 2029 OF/RHP/3B with a 5-11 194 lb. frame from Lafayette, LA. Large, physical frame with present strength already proportioned well throughout. Ran a 7.65 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, aggressive on the approach to the ball, gets the glove out front cleanly, shows some quickness in release, will continue to refine overall footwork in actions, fields the ball to the side, shows arm strength and carry on throws with accuracy to the intended base. Also pitched, employs a shorter arm stroke through the backside working to a three-quarters release point; looks to work down the mound with lower half. Pitched to contact, fastball topped out at 77 mph and filled the zone, showed makings of horizontal tilt to slider up to 70 mph. Right-handed hitter, begins with a wide base and a high hand set and back elbow at the plate; utilizes a toe tap trigger for timing in the box. Incorporates physical strength well and looks to lift at the point of contact, occasionally gets uphill with path but shows ability to impact the ball to the middle of the field. Shows rhythm in process of swing with some feel for the barrel.
