2024 Sunshine South Showcase (Tues-Wed)
Braydon Wisener is a 2026 RHP/OF with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Huffman, TX who attends Hargrave. Nice young athletic build with good length and lots of physical projection remaining. Works from a high leg raise delivery, medium length arm swing to a high 3/4's arm slot, lands slightly closed at times and doesn't always get over his front side cleanly, arm is fast and loose. Fastball topped out at 89 mph with more to come as he continues to grow, got good ride up in the zone, curveball was his primary breaking ball with good power and some 11/5 depth. Killed the spin on his change up very well with nice diving action. Also flashed an 80 mph slider. Starter profile with athleticism and four pitches and was around the plate with all of them. 6.76 runner in the sixty. Plays the outfield when not on the mound, showed his arm strength well, still developing his base footwork and transition fundamentals. Right handed hitter, hits from a narrow base with a deep hand load and hand hitch timer, swings hard and has intent, showed strong hands and impacted the ball hard to the pull side when he was on time and squared up, has power potential to develop. Good student. Named to the Sunshine South Showcase Top Prospect List.
