Ethan Monday is a 2028 1B/LHP/OF with a 6-4 200 lb. frame from Conyers, GA who attends Southwest Dekalb. Features a tall, lanky frame with strength present. Ran a 7.43 60-yard dash. Primary first baseman. Shows clean footwork with the ability to make the routine play. Glove works through it well. Has smooth actions with clean feeds. Worked out in the outfield. Shows a choppy approach with developing footwork. Fields the ball out front. Throws from a high 3/4 slot with accuracy. Still developing overall arm strength, reaching 77 mph during workouts. Left-handed hitter. Utilizes an upright stance with a narrow base. Swings on a flatter path through the zone. Approach uses the entire field. Still refining overall timing and barrel accuracy. Left-handed pitcher. Throws form a low 3/4 slot with a longer arm action. Fastball worked 67-71 mph with some cut action. Low-60’s slider has some sweeping action. Flashed a fading changeup with developing feel for it. Very good student.
