Jakson Zapata is a 2022 OF/ with a 5-11 172 lb. frame from Orlando, FL who attends Wekiva. Medium frame with athletic, compact build; ran 60 yard dash in 6.97 seconds. Hits from even-based stance, high stiff bar in hands, path tends to slash with length to the entry, high back elbow, has some impact pull-side when barrel gets out front, pull-hook approach. Worked out in the outfield, keeps feet moving, arm stroke is compact and restricted through the back, stiffness present, clocked up to 80 mph on throws. Very good student.
