Benjamin Hale is a 2024 RHP/IF with a 6-4 215 lb. frame from Cedar Bluff, VA who attends Richlands. Large frame with strength to the build. Ran an 8.09 second 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, stretch only delivery, works through a three-quarters arm slot generating sink to the fastball while working the bottom part of the zone with intent. Commands his stuff well and showed a tight slider into the low-70s for strikes. Also worked out in infield, not much range b ut fields it cleanly and showed some intent that would work well at first base. Righthanded hitter, strong swinger working slightly uphill with intent, can get off time but hit the ball very well in games with obvious strength and ability to create long carry. Great student. Named to 2021 Atlantic Coast Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
