Zechariah Takahashi is a 2023 C/RHP, 3B, SS, OF with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from Waipahu, HI who attends Mililani. Ran a 7.37 60 yard dash. Compact delivery on the mound with a short 3/4 arm action. Good athlete on the bump and has a firm fastball that fills up the zone. He was up to 85 with the fastball and it had some carry to it, generated a lot of whiffs above the zone. Posted a 1.86 pop time behind the dish and keeps his throws low. Good catch and throw with easy footwork. Athletic reactions behind the plate when receiving. Strong hitter at the plate. Clean bat path and has some natural loft in the barrel to provide power. Showed some nice impact in BP and good strength overall in the swing. Posted an exit velocity of 88 in BP.
