Ethan Carter is a 2025 2B/3B/SS with a 5-7 170 lb. frame from Olive Branch, MS who attends DeSoto Central. Compact physical build with some present strength. 7.03 runner in the sixty. Primary second baseman on defense, moves well and has lateral range, worked around balls well and carried his momentum into throws, fielded the ball cleanly, enough arm strength for the position, has some twitchy athleticism to continue to build on. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread stance with an open front foot, late hand hitch load can leave him late at times, will cast his hands out at times as well and hit around the ball, has good bat speed and jump off the barrel when he's direct and on time, just needs to simplify his approach and use his natural strength and quickness more consistently.
