Alder Forman is a 2027 SS/RHP/3B with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Old Fort, NC who attends A C Reynolds. Medium athletic build with room to get stronger. 7.24 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense, moves well to the ball and soft hands fielding, loose arm with a good feel for changing slots, overall clean actions with some physical projection remaining. Right handed hitter, has a busy pre-pitch routine that can leave him off-time, line drive swing plane, bat speed will continue to improve as he gets stronger. Took a turn on the mound, works from the stretch off the first base side of the rubber, high leg raise into a short and open stride down the mound, over the top arm slot. Fastball topped out at 79 mph with some running life at times. Curveball had some 11/5 sweeping depth. Might benefit from a longer stride down the mound. Excellent student.
