Kaison McGuire is a 2029 3B/RHP/1B with a 5-9, 130 lb. frame from Renton, WA, who attends Newport Senior High School. He is a 7.73 runner in the sixty. On the mound, the right-handed pitcher works from the stretch only with an athletic frame and efficient, repeatable mechanics. Shows good tempo, fills up the zone, and attacks hitters with confidence. The fastball plays well in the zone with late arm-side run, and he consistently induces weak contact. Secondary pitches are still developing, but the foundation is strong, and he flashed the ability to throw strikes at a high rate. Projectable arm with upside as he adds strength and velocity. In the infield, he shows corner defensive versatility with shorter, wristy arm actions and consistent glove work. His footwork is developing, and accuracy across multiple arm slots is good. He plays with a clean, stocky profile and the ability to continue refining actions as he adds strength. At the plate, hthe right-handed hitter has an even, taller stance with a simple stride and hands pushing back into launch. He maintains a downhill path with a higher finish and balanced setup. He shows feel for the barrel with line drives into the right-center gap and up the middle, and has some bat and hand speed.
