2024 Jr. National Showcase
Tommy Hayes is a 2026 RHP/1B with a 6-2 215 lb. frame from Ormond Beach, FL who attends Seabreeze HS. Extra large frame and build with present strength throughout. Primary right-handed pitcher who only ptiched during the event. Throws exclusively from the stretch. Leg lift just below the belt and throws from a high three-quarters arm slot. Fastball topped out at 81 mph and held the low-80s velocity throughout. Compact arm stroke through the back and located most of the fastballs to the arm side. Breaking ball showed slurvy shape with 10/4 break and was particularly adept at landing the pitch for strikes. Solid weapon against right-handed hitters. Flashed a changeup to a left-handed hitter that he killed spin nicely on. Great student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
