Brian Leith is a 2022 LHP/ with a 6-0 130 lb. frame from San Dimas, CA who attends Bonita. Tall, slender type frame with potential for added physical strength. Primary LH pitcher, with simple delivery, pitches from the 1B side of the rubber. Throws from 3/4 arm slot. Not consistent with release point, struggles to repeat his mechanics. FB has occasional arm side run, needs to refine FB command. CB has slow 2/7 type action, lacks consistent bite & depth. Needs to continue to improve overall control & command of all pitches. Recorded 7.66 60-yd time. Arm worked well in outfield with looseness and length, showed sound defensive actions in the outfield. Left-handed hitter, hits from an open narrow stance with lower handset. Has hand hitch load with some hand quickness and gets the barrel out on time with pull side contact, will continue to improve as a hitter with additional strength. Good student.
