Tyler DiMasi is a 2027 3B/RHP/UT with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from Highland Village, TX who attends Marcus. Big and physical athletic build. Primary 3B who profiles well there. Showed a strong arm with accuracy across the diamond and was up to 80 from there. Fields it deep at times and tends to wait back but fielded cleanly for most part. Works around the ball and gets it out fine. Arm strength projects for the left side of the dirt. Also ran a 7.35 sixty. Also pitched working up to 82 with his fastball. Starts out on the first base side of the rubber with tall and fall mechanics. Firm lead leg helps keep him in line well with good direction. Throws from a slightly higher 3/4 slot creating downhill angles into his release. Fastball showed good life to it up in the zone. Curve mixed in at 70 with sharp downer break and good healthy shape to it. Can pitch to both sides of the plate with comfort and can locate for strikes both pitches. Right-handed hitter with a wider base. Uses a toe tap rock back into contact for timing and rhythm. Uses the middle of the field and opposite field well with his approach. Load gets deep at times causing timing to be inconsistent but can impact it when on time. Showed a steep path to contact that looks to lift and launch the ball. Good Student.
