Matthew Logan is a 2026 1B/LHP/OF with a 6-5 210 lb. frame from Windermere, FL who attends Olympia. Big and strong athletic build. 7.94 runner in the sixty. Primary first baseman on defense, has some bounce off the bag on defense, clean actions and makes accurate throws, can made plays on the run, pretty polished defensively and will be an asset at first base. Left handed hitter, hits from a spread and open stance with a short stride into his swing, big barrel wrap creates length in his swing, rotational swing with some bat speed and ability to impact the ball, can take steps to shorten up for more consistent timing and barrels. Also pitched, has a short side step delivery with a 3/4's arm slot. Fastball was in the low 80's and topped out at 83 mph. Tunneled his change up well with his fastball with some fading action, also threw a curveball. Good student.
