Robert Brown II is a 2027 SS/RHP/OF with a 5-9 146 lb. frame from Austin, TX who attends Bowie. Slender young build with lots of growing ahead of him. 7.52 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense, moves well side to side and stays low fielding the ball, glove to hand transition is longer at present, some comfort changing arm slots, developing arm strength. Also worked out in the outfield. Right handed hitter, starts from a wide bent knee base with a low back elbow load with further hand drop in his load, can get over spread at times, upper body swing that can be late firing at times, mostly opposite field contact, bat speed will continue to improve with adjustments and additional strength. Took a turn on the mound, works from a full wind up with a small side step and high leg raise, full arm swing in back to a 3/4's arm slot, upper half dominant delivery. Fastball worked in the upper 60's to go with a soft downer curveball. Good student.
