David Shoup is a 2026 SS/RHP, 2B, 3B with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from New Braunfels, TX who attends New Braunfels Christian Aca. Strong, compact and strong build with definition. Ran a 7.22 in the sixty. Primary infielder with quick twitch actions up the middle. Sound transfers and soft hands with a strong arm across. Looks the part and moves to backhand well. Also pitched, over the top arm action and has a quick arm. Feel to spin both a curveball and slider. Fastball showed good cutting action. Switch hitter with quick hands and a short, direct swing. Impacted it to the pull side from both sides and gets the head out front a lot. Lots to like. Excellent student. Named to Top Prospect list.
