2025 PG High School All State Select Championship (26-27 Grads)
Grant Hindsley is a 2027 OF/RHP with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Robinson, TX who attends Axtell. Medium build with some present strength to build on. Right handed hitter, sets up in a spread stance with a high hand set and an inward toe tap, has quick hands and some bat speed, tight hand path with good extension out front, got in the air with some top spin on occasion but best contact mid field line drives, has hitting tools to continue to develop. 7.97 runner in the sixty, good routhes to the ball with some rhythm into his throws, over the top arm slot with a full arm action, some developing carry on his throws. Took a turn on the mound, worked from a full wind up with a high 3/4's arm slot, deliberate pace, repeats his mechanics well, could get into his lower half more for more velocity. Fastball topped out at 80 mph to go with a soft curveball and a fading change up to left handed hitters, had some feel for mixing his pitches. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
