Wayde Maddox is a 2026 OF/RHP with a 5-10 145 lb. frame from Conyers, GA who attends Rockdale County. Medium frame with lean current build and wiry strength to go with lots of fast twitch. Ran the 60-yard dash in 6.90 seconds. Primary position outfielder, moving well to the ball with good angles. Works the glove out front into deeper midline transfer into longish arm action. Throws up to 77 mph back to bags with emerging arm strength and accuracy. Secondary RHP, using full windup with hands at the chest, using belt high leg lift before accelerating through a high 3/4 arm angle. Loose arm action creating fastball up to 75 mph and bigger vertical curve ball and got better as he progressed through outing. Right handed hitter, using an upright and open base with a high handset tight to body. Works downhill to the ball with loose, free barrel action and when on plane gets nice jump. High to low hand load causes some inconsistency but there is hand speed and hit tool here. Good student as well.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
