Matthew Fletcher is a 2025 1B/LHP/OF with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from Round Rock, TX who attends Cedar Ridge. Large frame with solid physicality to the build. Ran a 7.38 second 60-yard dash. Primary first baseman, active around the position and plays with good energy, clean glove work and transitions into his throws well, arm plays well from the position across the diamond. Also pitches, repeatable and athletic delivery, simple release and has feel for a pair of pitches, heavy life on the fastball from the left side while showing some projectable feel to spin. Left-handed hitter, wide base and tight hands, swings it very hard and has a big dip in the back side to get steep through the zone, lifts the ball hard to the middle of the field and came off well consistently with good present strength to the stroke. Great student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
