Scott Knight is a 2026 SS/RHP/C with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Round Rock, TX who attends Rouse. Primary middle infielder with good athleticism. Moves well laterally and works around the ball well. Has soft hands with a smooth gather and a quick transfer and release. Accurate thrower and looks the part out there. Was able to change arm slot well. Also played catcher with a pretty quick release. Release could definitely get quicker with some work but liked the actions behind the plate. Has a quick arm and receives the ball well. Made all throws to second with good accuracy and strength behind them. Also ran a 6.76 sixty. Also pitched throwing from a full 3/4 slot and shorter arm action. Has a quick arm with a medium stride downhill. Would like to see him use his length a bit more to get downhill further. Fastball comes out of the hand quick and easy and got up to 80. Went to a short slider that he could land for strikes. Went to a curve as well with heavy top to bottom movement. Some interesting traits to project on off the bump. Right-handed hitter with a balanced base starting slightly open. Showed good lift and launch to the swing path. Uses a small toe lift and stride for timing and weight transfer. Rotates hard at the top half of things and can really turn it over well with authority. Excellent student.
