Luis Santiago is a 2025 C/1B, 3B with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Union City, NJ who attends Union City. Tall and athletic build with more strength to project onto the frame. 7.95 runner in the sixty-yard dash. Primary catcher, right knee down setup behind the dish, flexible with mobility to both sides blocking, good receiver, works under the ball and gains ground. Has good arm strength and a quick release, was accurate around the bag, recorded throws up to 74 mph and a pop-time of 2.06. Right-handed hitter, even and balanced stance, hanging knee lift trigger, solid fundamental swing. When timed up showed the ability to hit the ball all over the field with good strength off the barrel. Solid strength in the hands. Good student.
