Max Dougherty is a 2028 3B/RHP, 2B, SS, MIF, IF, OF, UT with a 5-9 125 lb. frame from Cedar Rapids, IA who attends Xavier. Recorded a 8.01 second sixty yard dash time. Tall and lanky frame with plenty of room to fill, good physical projection remaining. Primary third baseman with very active feet and good urgency/twitch to the actions, gets the ball out quick and utilizes a short arm actions. At his best when moving up the middle and showed the ability to make plays on the move, will continue to improve moving forward. Secondary right--handed pitcher with a simple and repeatable delivery, stays in line well with the plate. Utilizes a medium arm circle with a high and tight release. Stiff and segmented operation, has a passive approach on the mound. Fills up the zone and pitches to contact. Right-handed hitter with a narrow base and open stance, has a low hand and back elbow set. Utilizes a big stride into contact, was not consistent with his timing in this look. Has very quick hands for his age, the lower half seems to slow him down. Certainly has the tools to improve and will continue to get better as he cleans up some small details.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
