Ayvin Juarez is a 2027 OF/RHP, 1B with a 5-6 125 lb. frame from San Antonio, TX who attends East Central. He has a smaller frame with square shoulders and plenty of physical development ahead. Ran the sixty yard dash in 8.17 seconds. Primary outfielder that takes shorter, choppy steps to the ball and charges hard. He throws uses a small crow hop into his throwing motion and throws with a shorter arm action. Secondary right-handed pitcher that uses a semi-windup delivery and throws with a crossfire delivery that creates deception for opposing hitters. He uses slight drop and drive mechanics and throws with a short arm action from a low 3/4 arm slot. His fastball featured some nice cutting action when he released the ball out in front and he flashed a slider that had short horizontal movement that will get better with further development. Also worked out at first base, fielding the ball deep and throwing with accuracy to the bases. Right-handed hitter that starts in a balanced stance with high hands and a high back elbow. He keeps his hands tight to his body throughout the swing and does a nice job of staying on plane with the barrel. His swing is longer and he has an up-the-middle approach.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
