Anthony Roman is a 2030 C/3B with a 5-8 145 lb. frame from Copperas Cove, TX who attends Copperas Cove. Medium, compact build with plenty of time and room for additional strength. 8.09 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher, sets up in a RKD stance and gains sufficient ground. Showed some feel for the footwork while making efficient transfers. Delivered accurate throws on the right-side of the bag. Recorded arm strength up to 64 mph with a pop-time of 2.12 sec. Right-handed batter, starts in an even, upright stance with a low back elbow and even hand set-up. Utilizes a smaller leg lift trigger and deep hand load for timing. Takes a level and sometimes long path to the baseball. Showed ability to create line drive impact to the middle of the field when timed up. Has quality bat speed for his age. Posted an exit velocity of 83 mph.
