Ryan Aufderhar is a 2025 RHP/MIF with a 5-9 145 lb. frame from Climax, NC who attends Southeast Guilford. Medium frame with life and twitch to his actions, wiry strength and room to gain physicality in the future. Primary position RHP, working from the stretch and using quick cadence, high leg lift to load over the rubber. Sets hands at the belly and breaks into full inline arm path and accelerates through a 3/4 arm angle. Gets down the mound well and creates a lot of torque from the core. FB with ride through the zone, living in the low-80s and grabbing 84 mph often. Sweeping type SL with high spin traits up to 73 mph and real CH with fading action and contact deadening spin in the low-70s. Works fast and challenges hitters on the plate with swing and miss often. Secondary position IF, working quickly into his routes with good foot work and solid feel for the glove. Arm played up to 86 mph here and showed ability to throw from multiple slots. RHH working from an even stance, extra high handsets and small stride to impact. Direct path with the barrel and turns hard through contact. Showed gap power and overall feel for the bat head. Interesting two-way skillset and an excellent student as well.
