2023 13U/14U Sunshine South Showcase (Tues/Wed)
Ty Rivera is a 2028 3B/RHP with a 5-3 140 lb. frame from Hutto, TX who attends Hutto. Smaller frame with a young average build. Ran an 8.67 second 60-yard dash. Primary third baseman, plays back on it a bit and presents the glove late, shorter strides and transitions well into getting rid of it, up to 68 across and will improve arm strength with age. Pitches too, stretch only and long arm stroke to release, up to 66 and then maintains arm speed and intent well on the curveball. Right-handed hitter, longer swing with some casting of the hands but enough control of it to stay to the middle well, could get into his legs more but an idea to try to stay under control and not try to do too much.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
