Keith Haecker is a 2025 RHP/OF with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Pleasantville, NY who attends Westlake. Slender broad shouldered athletic build with lots of physical projection remaining. Works from a full delivery on the mound with a stiff leg raise start, long arm takeaway in back, gets big turn in his body and hips and rotates quickly to the plate, lands closed on his landing and throws around his core, has some deception to his delivery. Fastball topped out at 85 mph with heavy late sink at times, velocity plays up with his deception and life. Showed some feel for spinning the ball and changing the velocity and shape to his breaking balls. Change up had some fade to it. Threw strikes and showed the ability to mix and match his pitch selection. 7.26 runner in the sixty. Played the outfield when not on the mound, comes to get the ball well, has a long and loose arm action with good carry to his throws, jumping crow hop slows down his release. Left handed hitter, starts from a slightly open stance with a high back elbow start and a small hover leg raise load, has some strength in his hands and some lift through contact, showed some jump to right center field when squared up, still developing consistent timing. Good athlete with potential on the mound. Good student. Named to the Fall Connecticut Uncommitted Showcase Top Prospect List.
