Harley Childers is a 2028 C/RHP/OF with a 5-10 147 lb. frame from Saint Augustine, FL who attends Tocoi Creek High School. Features a medium sized lean build with plenty of room to add strength. Ran a 7.08 60-yd dash. In the OF, showed quality actions. Balanced/relaxed approach to the baseball. Late at times in getting into posture. Glove gets down on-time but reception is a tad deep and to the side. Extra shuffle before getting into throws, using a medium path out the back and got off accurate throws with avg. strength for his level. Behind the plate, he operates from a slight side saddle set up. Fast exchange that happens at the upper chest and uses a shorter arm action that gets off throws quickly. Quick out the crouch but gains minimal ground towards 2nd and got off accurate throws to the bag. At the plate, he stands narrow/upright and uses smaller leg lift that gets him drifting a bit onto his front side. Hands push through but show quality hand/bat speed and swings it with
consistent strong intent. More short-to-long bat path providing consistent/hard contact when he caught it out front but got jammed a couple times.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
