Nolan Schmidbauer is a 2026 OF/MIF with a 5-9 165 lb. frame from Waukesha, WI who attends Waukesha West. Primary outfielder with a medium sized frame with strength. Gets through the ball well with quick feet and violent arm action. Showed good glove work and good adjustability reacting to hops well. Fields it cleanly out in front while charging with intent. Gains ground on the follow through and carries momentum into his throws with a downhill release. Good carry and strength behind his throws. Was up to 82 from the outfield. Also ran a 6.77 sixty. Right-handed hitter with a balanced base and low handset starting far from body. Hands rear back on the load producing good bat speed. Uses a small stride for timing and weight transfer. Clears the hips well and rotates hard at the top half of things. Good bat speed with evident strength in hands could really impact the ball at contact off the barrel. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
