Colton Semmelmann is a 2026 LHP/1B with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Brookfield, WI who attends Brookfield Central. Taller frame and lean build with good length throughout the body. Projects well moving forward. Primary left-handed pitcher who worked from the wind-up with a sidestep into the leg lift and a deliberate move down the slope. Calm and collected operation, moving well throughout. He works with the sidestep into a knee-to-core leg lift with some slight coil to it. He works through a longer arm action with some whip and a full release through the back. He whips hard through it and pitches from a medium three-quarters arm slot. He worked 89-90 mph on the fastball throughout the outing, with spin above 2,100 RPMs, showing good burst out of the hands and some carry. He also had a slider working in the 72-74 mph range with spin above 2,500 RPMs, showing a healthy 10-4 shape to it. It blended well with a cutter in the 77-78 mph range with firm cutting action to it. He also showed a changeup working 77-80 mph with spin down into the 1,300s and good fading depth to it. He worked quickly and uptempo, mixing all four pitches. His stuff held up well, and he looked the part throughout the whole outing. Named to 2025 North Indoor Showcase TP List. Verbal commitment to South Carolina.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
