Princeton Childs is a 2023 C/2B with a 5-8 175 lb. frame from Bakersfield, CA who attends Garces Memorial. Compact catcher's build with good present strength. Left handed hitter, has a short and direct swing with good bat speed, works gap to gap while showing very good barrel to ball skills in the game, showed power in the game and drove a couple balls hard to left centerfield. 7.73 runner in the sixty, showed good baserunning instincts and awareness. Has compact actions behind the plate defensively, quick and short exchange on his throws, makes accurate throws with developing arm strength, pretty fundamentally sound. Good student.
