Dahn Fernandez is a 2028 SS/2B with a 5-9 142 lb. frame from Duluth, GA who attends Greater Atlanta Christian School. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and a lean build, has room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 7.58 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, does a nice job of staying low on the approach and through actions while working behind the ball, shows a feel for the leather in the dirt, effort to throws from a higher slot and can quicken overall release but shows strength and carry. Made athletic diving play in shallow right-center field in live action and doubled up runner at first base. Also pitched, leg lift up to belt at top, nice energy through operation and worked very quick, higher three-quarters release. Challenged hitters with fastball, topped out at 71 mph, mostly true in life but worked around the zone and flashed a curveball at 54 mph. Right-handed hitter, begins with balanced set up in the box, shows quickness to hands and controls the barrel well with rhythm throughout the process. Confident approach, strength will continue to develop with physicality, able to repeat swing due to overall shortness of path. Named to the 14u Georgia All-State Games Top Prospect List.
