James Hankins is a 2028 C/1B/3B with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Marietta, GA who attends Mt Paran Christian School. Recorded an 8.23 second 60-yard dash time. Size to the frame already with some strength present. Primary catcher with deliberate footwork and a clean exchange. Slight hitch in the back of the arm action with good accuracy. Minimal ground gained but repeated and posted a best recorded pop time of 2.06 seconds. Also worked out from the infield with corner infield actions and accuracy across. Right-handed hitter with a medium base, high back elbow, and an inside path to contact. Level swing plane with some loft when extended. Flashed some impact to the pull side. Great student.
