Jag Garces is a 2026 SS/RHP/OF with a 5-11 185 lb. frame from West Bridgewater, MA who attends West Bridgewater. Strong broad shouldered athletic build. 7.08 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense, has a good first step and gets to balls, gets the glove down early and has a clean funnel out front, some arm strength across with more to come. Also worked out in the outfield and showed good athletic actions with some arm quickness and carry. Right handed hitter, starts from a straight stance with a short controlled stride, contact oriented swing that hits to all fields, upper body arm driven swing that can use more lower half for additional bat speed. Took a turn on the mound, works from the stretch with a compact arm action and a 3/4's arm slot. Fastball topped out at 79 mph and was mostly straight, tended to slow his arm on a soft curveball. Excellent student. Named to the Northeast HS All-State Games Top Prospect List.
