2025 PG High School All State Select Championship (28-29 Grads)
Logan Latier is a 2029 1B/RHP/3B with a 6-3 240 lb. frame from Kansas City, MO who attends St. Pius X. Extra big and strong build, stands out physically. Right handed hitter, sets up in a spread stance with a high hand load and a standard leg raise trigger, has strength in his hands and creates easy jump off the barrel, middle of the field contact, hits under control at present but has lots more power there as he matures and opens up his swing. 8.62 runner in the sixty. Primary first baseman on defense, moves well for his size and has an idea on his footwork, good turns on his throws, some arm strength for the position, can get his glove down earlier fielding but showed soft glove actions. Took a turn on the mound, works from a standard side step wind up with a belt high leg raise and a short stride out front, 3/4's arm slot with some downhill angle. Fastball topped out at 79 mph with some running life, depended mostly on his fastball while throwing plenty of strikes. Mixed in an occasional soft 11/5 curveball.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
